The day after arriving on Arran in cold and wet weather, we managed to get onto the beach, which was also cold and wet, but Megan still enjoyed playing in what was so far the biggest sand pit she had ever seen.

One of the highlights of the holiday was a walk to the isolated King's cave through some peaceful woods and across stunning heather covered cliffs in brilliant sunshine.
