Here are some photos from a week of cycling in the Pyrenees in the height of summer. Lovely warm weather, lots of wind, lots of lovely fresh melons and peaches, and amazing hospitality thanks to Lisa and her family. This trip also saw my introduction to wild camping - somewhere where it's completely prohibited! We found ourselves a nice bush out of the way from the road and the river and pitched the tent in it. And I didn't sleep a wink because I kept remembering the shotgun cartridges I'd seen lying around and thought I could hear people creeping about.
