Continuing with the snowy theme of 2009, we went to Scotland for some winter skills practice. We walked up Cairn Gorm in cloud, wind and seriously cold ice and snow (though possibly not as bad as our trip up Ben Nevis a few years ago), played around with ice axes on steep slopes, and dug some snow holes. I didn't take many pictures because it was so cold the camera battery went flat.
