On Wednesday, we visited the spectacular Curran Strand, with its sandy beach and striking white rocks. A short walk from here, past impressive sea arches, is Dunluce Castle, perched on a cliff. I then ran the 11 miles back along the Causeway Coast Way to the holiday cottage at Dunseverick, in such a fierce wind that there was foam blowing about even at the top of some of the sizeable cliffs. It was a thrilling run, along sand dunes, and up and down steep winding paths and stairs, often close to cliff edges.
