A week in Whitby, a town with an excess of churches and fish and chip shops. In one street, there were three enormous churches, all next to each other, and another one just around the corner. Most eateries in the main part of town are fish and chip shops. But just in case they don't take your fancy, you can go up any side street, and you'll stumble across... more fish and chip shops. We never stay in the same place twice, but last time was so good, we broke this rule, and stayed in the same spectacularly placed cottage near the somewhat appropriately named Khyber Pass.
