That's A Lot Of Chocolate Luke At Wild Camp On Raasay Wild Camp On Raasay Wild Camp On Raasay Wild Camp On Rona Wild Camp On Rona Wild Camp On Rona Rona Has Lots Of Midges Luke And Tony, Skye Tony, Skye Luke Vanishing Into A Sea Cave, Skye Tony Emerging From Sea Cave, Skye Loch Creran Loch Creran

Another five days sea kayaking off the west coast of Scotland. This time we made a circumnavigation of Raasay and Rona, off the east coast of Skye. We saw an amazing amount of wildlife, including otters, sea eagles and LOTS of seals and cormorants. At one point we had thirty or so seals following us around a bay!

We also probably now hold the record for the most number of capsizes in five days. Luke got the first practising high braces. I got the second falling in within two minutes of starting our expedition (not a record, apparently). Luke got the third on flat calm water trying to steer a kayak by leaning it, and shortly after I got the fourth trying to rescue him... once Tony and Richard had stopped laughing they fished us out, with Richard feeling smug having managed to keep his boat upright for the whole trip.
