This year's birthday camping weekend was at the highest Inn in the UK, the Tan Hill Inn. Situated in the middle of a bleak moor in the north of the Yorkshire Dales, this fantastic pub charges a quid a night for camping, makes you pull your own pint, generates its own electricity and has a year-round fire. Possibly the friendliest and best pub in existence.
