Kilnsey Moor Cycling, March 2010

Photos from a stunning bike ride from Malham Tarn, over Kilnsey Moor to Kilnsey, then back over the moor to Malham Tarn. It's a great ride with good tracks - though covered in snow which made the going a bit difficult at times - and an awesome descent into Kilnsey. The weather was gloriously sunny, but quite chilly in the shade of the hill - the winter sun was too low to light up Kilnsey. We managed to get back to the car just as it was getting dark - and that night the temperature plummeted to -6C in Yeadon, so goodness knows what it was like on Kilnsey Moor! Good job we didn't injure ourselves as there was nobody to help us and we would have died of exposure...
