Arisaig, August 2016

Photos from around the Back of Keppoch, Arisaig and Mallaig. The cottage was on a quiet road facing out west over the Small Isles, which made for some spectacular sunsets. The roads were well surfaced, twisty and undulating, which made them a joy to cycle on.

The weather was mixed, but warm enough that I wore shorts for the entire holiday, and the midges were mercifully few. This wasn't the Scotland that we're normally used to!

I also managed a day in a sea kayak, though didn't take any photos.
