Canoeing On The River Wye, 12th August 2004

After a nice day's rest (funeral for me, and, although they claim otherwise, an all day lie-in for Pete and Nic), we thought we'd give the legs a rest from all the cycling and walking and knacker out our arms instead. All over body pain is your friend. So we hired some canoes.

After completely ignoring the directions from the guy running the watersports centre about which way to go down the river to avoid grounding the boats, we got into the canoes and grounded them. Repeatedly.

Oh, and it didn't rain. Except for the huge downpour at the start.
