Today dawned cool, overcast and hazy. After a wonderful cooked breakfast courtesy of my mum, we set off with panniers full of lovely sandwiches for another long slog. Our deep hatred of Devon and Cornwall has subsided with the hills. Easy cycling today, but a long way. I nearly got wiped out by a dirty great 4x4 ten miles from the end, but decided at the last minute not to swerve right slightly... luckily... Legs ok, bum feeling a lot better thanks to Savlon (or was it toothpaste?). Short day tomorrow - only 70 odd miles!

Serious puncture today (see photos). Fixed it with Gaffer tape, but only lasted 60 miles, so ended up buying a new tyre.
Will
